Touch screen – the iPhone’s a little better, or I just need to calibrate this thing, or I need to figure out to enable pinch to zoom.
Phone calls – on the iPhone, if you’re on a call take the phone away from your ear, the screen will light up again with the options to enable the speakerphone, mute, and more. the Magic? screen remains dim – you have to click the menu option to show the options – it’s a little thing, but all the little things add up.
Contacts – The Contacts App is the greatest contacts application I’ve used bar none. SMS and Emails have their own tab per Contact for archived viewing. Integration to Facebook is seamless. Pictures are automatically loaded, Photos, Birthdays and Events are incorporated into unified contacts. It even shows their status updates.
Customization – Magic, hands down. the HTC Magic Scene’s app alone kills the iPhone in home screen usability.
Home Scene – You have 7 tabs in your home screen, all of which are saved into a Group Theme Profile – you can set a Work profile which has your calendar widget and application shortcuts. Then you can switch to your Home Profile once you’re done to show a different set of other widgets which has your Facebook and Twitter app.
