Windows 7 does not search within Microsoft Outlook PST files by default — but this can easily be enabled:

From the Start Menu type "Indexing Options" (the program will be found before you finish typing)

<Click> on the Indexing Options program

<Click> the Advanced Button

From the File Types Tab, <Click> (select) the Checkbox next to PST Extension

From the How should this file be indexed? section (below), select "Index Properties and File Contents"

Click OK, then Close
